Adding waste activities to your permit

If you are applying to add waste installations or waste operations to a permit that has not previously had them, you must also give details of:

New areas of land

For any new areas of land, you must provide us with a site condition report (H5).

You must also send us a detailed site plan (or plans) showing:

  • site location, the area covered by the site condition report, and the location and nature of the activities and/or waste facilities on the site
  • locations of receptors, sources of emissions/releases, and monitoring points
  • site drainage
  • site surfacing


Timescales

We will make a decision within four months of receiving a complete application and the correct fee.

We will check your application and confirm if it is complete. If it is complete we call this ‘duly made’. If it is not complete we may request further information from you. The four month timescale does not begin until we consider the application is ‘duly made’.
