Species licensing: submit a bat trainer endorsement

Use this service to endorse someone applying for a licence to handle bats.

Before you start

To give an endorsement, you must:

  • hold a current Natural Resources Wales bat licence
  • have directly supervised the applicant’s training
  • have regularly worked with the applicant over time (not just during a one‑off survey)
  • have seen the applicant’s skills first‑hand across a range of bat survey and handling situations

You will need to tell us:

  • your contact details
  • the name of the applicant you are endorsing
